NEETA PEDERSEN
Art & Design
welcome to my creative world
My creativity reflects an inner world shaped by memory, emotion, and imagination.
It moves between the romantic, the sensual, the dark, and the playful—expressed through my artworks, designs, and storybook-style illustrations.
Working across mediums, I often explore themes of feminine energy, empowerment, and sensuality, with a subtle connection to nature.
Symbolic and decorative elements, drawn from personal meaning, appear throughout my work.
Each piece blends lived experience with visual expression.

With a bold and individual style, she has created a substantial body of original work that has earned her international recognition. Her art has been exhibited in galleries throughout Denmark and the UK, including London’s prestigious Cork Street.

Neeta’s extraordinary life journey profoundly inspires her creative vision and practice. Born in Mumbai and adopted by a Danish couple at just six months old, she was raised in Aarhus, Denmark.

At 17, she began her journey with a personal adventure to Israel, followed by a transformative period travelling through India and Nepal, where she reconnected with her roots. Her travels have also taken her across Central Europe and Scandinavia, as well as to Boston and New York—each destination enriching her worldview and artistic expression.

In 1997, Neeta moved to Lewes and pursued her studies at Brighton College of Technology, earning a BTEC National Diploma in Multimedia. She later attended the Total Immersion Intensive Workshop at the New York Film Academy in 1999, and in 2005, she completed a BA (Hons) in Animation from the University of Westminster in London. Since 2006, Neeta has worked across multiple creative disciplines, including visual art, illustration, graphic design, and web development. In February 2020, she became the owner and director of the Star Brewery Gallery in Lewes, where she curates dynamic exhibitions that showcase both established and emerging talent
